Eva Airways held month-long flights into Saipan last April

DURING THE whole month of April 2007, Eva Airways held twice a week flights into Saipan. The inaugural flight happened last April 4 with Eva Airways' Airbus 330-200 touching down on the Saipan Airport with approximately 295 passengers.

The passengers were welcomed by members of the Marianas Visitors Authority. Among the members were Mr. Bob Jones, Mr. Jerry Tan, Ms. Pace Wu (a Taiwanese model), SPN Governor Ben Fitial, Mr. James Chin (Taiwanese Consul), Mr. Nieh Kuo-Wei (Executive of Evergreen Corp./owner of Eva Air), Fiesta Resort and Spa GM Jackson Yang and Perry Tenorio, Executive of Marianas Visitors Authority (holding microphone).
